1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how WED AI (a Proprietorship operated by Pradeep Kumar) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, the studio dashboard, the WED AI Couple Space, guest and tourist galleries, the Android app, the WED AI Device, and the Editor Marketplace.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email, phone number, business details and login credentials for studios, editors and editing organizations.
- Photos and Videos: Event media uploaded manually, synced from a camera, or sent by the WED AI Device, for AI processing (culling, retouch, colour grading, album automation, AI Creator Studio), album and video production, Wed Cinema streaming, and gallery access.
- Face Data: Used for Face Scan (a guest finds only their own photos with a selfie), AI Culling (VIP face protection), Face Lock (keeping a person's identity unchanged in AI edits), and face-recognition login where the studio enables it. Face templates are stored per event or per account, are never sold, and are deleted when the event or account is deleted.
- Couple Space and Guest Activity: Photo selections, retouch requests, downloads, uploads and purchases made through the Couple Space, guest galleries and tourist galleries.
- Payment and Payout Information: Guest photo purchases, credit recharges and marketplace payments are processed by secure third-party payment gateways; card and bank details are not stored on our servers. Payout accounts (UPI or bank) are verified through the gateway and stored only as a verified reference.
- Device and Sync Data: The WED AI Device sends a heartbeat (camera model, battery level, Wi-Fi signal, upload counts, status) so your dashboard can show it live. Camera sync, crew uploads and multi-event sync record which device, crew link or account uploaded each photo.
- Marketplace Data: Editor profiles, rate cards, orders, chat messages, ratings and identity-verification documents submitted by editors and organizations for KYC.
- Technical Data: Device sessions, login history, IP address and browser information used for security, session management and fraud prevention.
3. How We Use and Share Information
Your information is used only to provide the services you use: AI processing of your media, album and video production, cinema streaming, guest and tourist galleries, credits and payments, the Editor Marketplace, the WED AI Assistant, and platform security. AI processing may involve trusted AI service providers who process media on our behalf and do not retain it beyond the job. We do not sell data. Data is shared only with your studio partner, the editors or organizations you choose to work with, payment gateway providers, and essential service providers. Each studio's data remains isolated; no other studio can see it. Guests see only their own photos; the couple sees their event; studio staff and crew see only what their role or event link allows.
4. Security & Data Retention
Data is protected with role-based access control, secure login options (password, OTP, face recognition, authenticator apps and two-factor authentication), device session controls with remote sign-out, signed and expiring gallery and cinema links, watermarking safeguards, and escrow-protected marketplace payments. Photos, films and account data are retained while the account is active or as required by law. Studios control per-event retention, upload locks and link expiry; unsold tourist photos auto-delete after 24 hours. Data can be securely deleted upon request.
